Announcing: Process and Integration Customer Advisory Board (CAB)

Oracle is embarking on creating a customer advisory board (CAB) geared towards process and integration. They are inviting a select few customers to participate in this board and work closely with Oracle to address tactical problems faced by customers and help drive appropriate solutions that would solve these problems and make the current integration technology across various product families easy to manage, implement and customize.

Membership in the customer advisory board will provide the following benefits:

  • Work with development to help set strategy for product direction
  • Opportunity to share industry knowledge
  • Help us drive requirements and influence the technology modernization
Here are some of the requirements to be part of the CAB:
  • Willing to be a reference customer for Oracle
  • Already licensed and implemented (or in the process of implementing) a current version of an Oracle E-Business Suite product or products.
  • Oracle 11i customer.
  • Best of the breed in industry and business processes and has a strong vision on how Oracle E-Business Suite would help to improve business efficiency.
  • Has an interesting customer profile: eg. Large-scale of implementation (# of users, # of Oracle products), competitor win-back, brand name, new / innovative business and technologies.
If you are interested in participating and meet the requirements to be a member of the CAB, please email Chris Capdevila, the Oracle Workflow SIG Coordinator at: workflowsig@logicalapps.com

Your Participation Makes a Difference!

As a new SIG, we are actively seeking members to volunteer for open Board Member positions. Until the first elections are held, Chris Capdevila will serve as the Chair/Coordinator.

For 2003, the OAUG is pleased to announce the recent formation the Oracle Workflow Special Interest Group. This newly formed SIG has been established to assist the Oracle User community with understanding and sharing best practices using Oracle Workflow.

The Purpose of the Oracle Workflow SIG:

  • Learning how to best leverage technology to enable automation and continuous improvement to your business processes
  • Provide a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences with other members
  • Influence the enhancements and direction of the product through communication and cooperation with Oracle

Requirements for participation:

  • OAUG membership
  • New or existing user of Oracle Workflow
  • Vendors are welcome, but cannot solicit business at meetings

If you meet the eligibility requirements, we would like to invite you and your company to join our SIG. The more users involved, the greater the opportunity for sharing and the greater the opportunity to impact on product direction.
